Small towns in Costa Rica are famous for their craftsmanship of artisan wood products ranging from souvenirs to furniture.  The family owned company that provides the beautiful wood you see on CRE's website, resides in Costa Rica.  All of the wood for these products is derived from damaged or fallen trees.  There were no trees or forests harmed in the making of this wood so you can enjoy the beauty without the guilt!  (we are working on pricing and a shopping cart so if you are interested in something specific, email us)
